Superintendent - Commercial Ground-Up & Renovation
An established commercial general contractor that builds in multiple states is seeking a Superintendent to lead a major project in Winston-Salem, NC! The first assignment is a 1-year commercial project in Winston-Salem, and once that project is complete this role moves into travel to the company's projects in other markets. They take on both ground-up construction and renovation work, so you will see a great mix of builds. This is a great opportunity for a field leader who wants steady, long-term work and is open to traveling after the first project. Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Run daily field operations from mobilization through turnover
- Schedule and direct subcontractors and trade crews
- Keep the jobsite safe, clean and in line with safety standards
- Track the schedule and raise delays early with the Project Manager
- Lead inspections and quality checks against plans and specifications
- Keep daily reports, photos and site records up to date
- Drive punch list and project closeout
Superintendent Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction Superintendent
- Experience running commercial projects valued at $15M+
- Background in both ground-up construction and renovation projects
- Willing to travel to out-of-town projects after the initial 1-year Winston-Salem project
- Strong leadership with subcontractors and field crews
- Consistent work history
Superintendent Compensation & Benefits:
- $105,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
- Competitive benefits package
- 1-year local project to start, followed by travel assignments
