Pay: $110,000–$150,000 base salary, plus benefits

A respected commercial general contractor in the western Chicago suburbs is hiring a Superintendent to lead local projects. You'll run office, retail, and light industrial jobs across DuPage and Will counties, with local-only work that keeps you home every night.

What You'll Do

• Run day-to-day field operations on commercial projects from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate and lead trade partners to keep work safe, on schedule, and built right
• Own the site safety program and set the tone for a safe jobsite
• Build and update look-ahead schedules with the Project Manager
• Manage inspections, quality checks, punch lists, and turnover
• Keep clear daily reports and steady communication with owners, architects, and the project team

What You Bring

• 5+ years of superintendent experience on commercial projects with a general contractor
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
• A safety-first mindset (OSHA 30 is a plus)
• Leadership skills to keep trades organized and moving
• Calm problem solving when plans change

What We Offer

A base salary of $110,000–$150,000 depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package. You'll have local projects only, a supportive team, and room to grow into senior field leadership.
