A growing owner's representation and project management firm in the western Chicago suburbs is hiring an Owner's Representative to lead commercial projects on the client side. You'll be the owner's advocate from early planning through turnover, keeping budgets, schedules, and quality on track.
What You'll Do
- Represent building owners on commercial projects such as office, healthcare, retail, and light industrial
- Help clients select design teams and general contractors, and manage bids and contracts
- Track project budgets, schedules, and change orders, and report clearly to ownership
- Review pay applications, submittals, and RFIs, and keep design and construction teams aligned
- Lead owner, architect, and contractor meetings and hold every party accountable
- Manage closeout, punch lists, and a smooth handoff to the owner's operations team
What You Bring
- 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience with a general contractor, owner's rep firm, or developer
- Strong command of budgets, scheduling, and construction contracts
- Clear, confident communication with owners, design teams, and trade partners
- A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is a plus
- PMP or similar credentials are a plus
What We Offer
A $110,000–$150,000 base salary, a full benefits package, local projects, and a team that values sound judgment and long-term client relationships. There's real room to grow into senior program leadership.
