Location: Greater Pittsburgh area, PA (hybrid)
Compensation: $145,000 - $185,000, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Pittsburgh area is looking for a Tax Director to lead a significant portion of its tax practice. You'll serve as a senior technical resource and trusted advisor, lead and grow teams, and play a key role in the firm's growth, with a path to Partner.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex tax engagements and serve as a senior technical resource
• Provide final review of sophisticated returns, planning, and research
• Advise business owners and high-net-worth clients on planning and structuring
• Oversee specialty areas such as trusts and estates or multistate tax, as applicable
• Manage practice economics, staffing, and quality
• Mentor and develop managers and senior managers
• Lead business development and represent the firm in the community

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Active CPA license (required)
• Recognized technical depth in business and individual taxation
• Proven leadership of teams and client portfolios
• Strong business development and relationship skills
• Uncompromising integrity
