Agricultural Loan Officer, Community Bank
Location: Taylorville, IL (on-site, with travel to customers)
Our client is a well-established, relationship-focused community bank serving farm families and rural businesses. It's looking for an Agricultural Lender to grow and manage a quality ag loan portfolio.
What you'll do:
- Build new ag lending relationships with producers, from row crop to livestock to diversified operations, and grow existing ones
- Structure, underwrite and present operating, equipment, livestock and real estate loans
- Manage your portfolio: annual reviews, farm inspections, collateral and covenant monitoring
- Work with credit, operations and branch teams to deliver deposit and treasury services
- Be active in the local ag community: co-ops, extension, FFA, commodity groups
What you bring:
- 3+ years of ag lending, ag credit or farm management experience (Farm Credit, community bank or similar)
- Strong understanding of farm financials, cash flow analysis and collateral
- Knowledge of FSA guaranteed programs is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in ag business, finance, ag economics or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ag background and local market ties strongly preferred
