Labor & Employment Attorney: Fully Remote Management-Side Practice with an Orange County Firm

Our client, a respected Newport Beach firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The practice defends employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters, including PAGA and class actions, and provides day-to-day advice on workplace compliance.

This is a remote role. You will work from home with regular virtual collaboration, and occasional travel for depositions, mediations, or hearings as needed.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in single-plaintiff, class, and PAGA actions
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions and attend mediations and hearings
• Advise clients on policies, handbooks, investigations, and compliance
• Respond to agency charges and administrative claims

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment experience, preferably on the management side
• Strong knowledge of California employment law
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Self-motivated and productive in a remote environment
