Job Description

An established general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is looking for a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction on commercial, healthcare and multifamily work. This is a chance to shape projects early and help guide how the precon team runs.

What You'll Do

• Lead preconstruction efforts from early budgets through final pricing
• Prepare conceptual, schematic and hard-bid estimates
• Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling and scope reviews
• Work closely with owners, architects and operations teams on budgets, value engineering and constructability
• Help manage day-to-day functions of the preconstruction department
• Support proposals and interviews for new work

What You Bring

• 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a commercial general contractor
• Experience with commercial, healthcare or wood-frame projects is a plus
• Strong estimating, take-off and budgeting skills
• Clear communication and the confidence to present to owners and design teams
• A degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
