Structural Steel Erection Project Manager

Location: Asheville, NC area (Western North Carolina)

Position Overview

Our client, a structural steel erection contractor in Western North Carolina, is hiring a Project Manager to run steel erection projects. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Manage steel erection projects from award through closeout
• Own budgets, schedules, change orders and billing
• Coordinate erection crews, cranes, deliveries and fabricators
• Be the main point of contact for GCs and owners
• Track cost and keep projects safe and on schedule

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project management in structural steel erection or fabrication
• Ability to read erection drawings and specs
• Strong cost control and scheduling skills
• Strong communication and leadership

Compensation

• Competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000
