An established commercial general contractor is growing its team in Irving and looking for an experienced Estimator. You'll play a key role in pricing and winning work across North Texas, working closely with operations and leadership from bid day through buyout.
What You'll Do
• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial and public projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans, specs and bid documents
• Solicit, review and level subcontractor and supplier bids
• Identify scope gaps, risks and value engineering opportunities
• Support cost control and hand off clean budgets to project teams
Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and design partners
What You Bring
• 5 to 8 years of experience in estimating, cost control or project management with a commercial general contractor
• Strong takeoff and estimating software skills
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids at once
• Clear communication and a team-first approach
• A degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
