Job Description

A community bank in Keokuk is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its lenders across Lee County and southeast Iowa. You'll partner closely with loan officers on underwriting and risk ratings, with a clear path toward lending or senior credit roles.

Responsibilities:

• Spread borrower financial statements and personal and business tax returns
• Assign and review risk ratings on new requests and existing credit lines
• Write clear credit memos for lenders and the loan committee
• Support month-end, regulatory, and loan portfolio reporting
• Check that loan files meet policy and compliance standards
• Help train and mentor newer credit staff

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior bank credit analyst experience (one year or more) preferred
• Sharp analytical skills and a good command of Excel
• Team player who works easily with loan officers
• Interested in a long-term path into lending or credit
