Our company is seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey work on land development, infrastructure, and private projects. You'll manage boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys from research through final plats, review and sign survey deliverables, and guide field crews and survey technicians. This role is mostly office-based with minimal travel, and it comes with a competitive salary and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction staking surveys
- Research deeds, plats, and records, and resolve boundary issues
- Prepare, review, and sign plats, legal descriptions, and survey drawings
- Supervise and mentor field crews and survey technicians
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and agencies
Requirements:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Minimum of 8 years of professional surveying experience
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, Trimble or Leica equipment, and survey software
- Strong knowledge of state survey standards and boundary law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Benefits:
