Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney, Plaintiff Personal Injury (In Office)

Our client, an established plaintiff personal injury law firm in Glendale, is seeking a Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to lead and manage its entire pre-litigation department. This is a leadership role for an attorney who knows PI pre-lit inside and out and wants to build and run a high-performing team. The position is in office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full pre-litigation department, including attorneys, case managers and support staff
• Manage a high-volume PI caseload from intake through settlement or transfer to litigation
• Set up and improve department workflows, case timelines and performance metrics
• Evaluate case value, approve demand packages and lead negotiations with insurance carriers
• Train, mentor and hold the pre-lit team accountable
• Work closely with firm leadership and the litigation department

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar admission, in good standing
• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience
• Proven experience supervising or managing a pre-lit team or department
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of maximizing settlements
• Organized, process-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced practice

Compensation

• Highly competitive base salary of $180,000 to $240,000, depending on experience
