A well-regarded boutique law firm in Falls Church, VA, focused on franchise, trademark and motor vehicle law, is looking for a paralegal to support its attorneys on franchise registration, transactional and litigation matters. The firm offers a professional but informal workplace. What you'll do - Prepare, file and manage franchise registrations, renewals and amendments, including Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), and communicate with state regulators - Manage the contract lifecycle and track key deadlines - Assist with corporate filings and governance documents - Support transactions such as franchise agreements, transfers, M&A, due diligence and closing binders - Provide litigation support, including pleadings, discovery, e-filing and exhibit preparation What you'll need - College degree - 3+ years as a paralegal at a private law firm or in a corporate legal department - Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw and CM-ECF/PACER Preferred - Franchise paralegal experience (not required) - Paralegal certificate Salary: $65,000 - $95,000, plus benefits.
