Job Description

A nationally respected builder with a strong presence in the Chicago area is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll own quality, schedule, safety and the client relationship, with the backing of a team that invests in its people.

What You'll Do

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning budget, schedule and quality
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects and trade partners
• Manage buyout, subcontracts, change orders and cost forecasting
• Partner with superintendents to keep jobsites safe, organized and on schedule
• Track progress, manage risk and report clearly to clients and leadership
• Mentor project engineers and assistant project managers

What You Bring

• 5+ years of project management experience with a general contractor or builder
• A track record of delivering commercial projects on time and on budget
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling and cost control
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related field preferred
• Clear communication and a client-first mindset

What We Offer

• Salary range of $113,500–$170,300 per year, based on experience
