Job Description

A well-established commercial general contractor in North Texas is looking for a Preconstruction Manager to help lead projects from early concept through buyout. You'll be a key voice in shaping budgets, schedules and strategy before work starts in the field.

What You'll Do

• Lead preconstruction efforts on commercial projects from conceptual design through bid day
• Build and manage conceptual, schematic and detailed estimates
• Develop value engineering options and constructability reviews with owners and design teams
• Manage trade partner outreach, bid leveling and scope reviews
• Support pursuits, interviews and proposals alongside the business development team
• Hand off well-documented projects to operations for a smooth start

What You Bring

• Several years of preconstruction or estimating experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong cost knowledge across building systems and trades
• Comfort presenting budgets and options to owners and architects
• Experience with estimating and takeoff software
• A collaborative, organized approach and clear communication
