Job Description

A respected commercial builder in the northwest Chicago suburbs is looking for a Superintendent to run its jobsites from mobilization through turnover. You'll be the leader in the field, keeping crews safe, work on schedule and quality where it should be.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial projects from site work through closeout
• Coordinate and schedule trade partners, deliveries and inspections
• Run a safe, organized jobsite and hold everyone to high safety standards
• Keep the project schedule on track with three-week look-aheads and daily reports
• Work closely with the project manager, owner and design team to solve problems in the field
• Manage quality control, punch lists and turnover to the owner

What You Bring

• 7+ years of commercial construction field experience, with at least 3 as a superintendent for a general contractor
• Strong knowledge of building systems, sequencing and construction documents
• OSHA 30 (or willingness to get it)
• Clear communication and steady leadership with crews and trade partners
• Comfort with Procore or similar project management software

What We Offer

• Pay range: $110,000–$145,000 per year, based on experience
