A well-established law firm in the Norfolk, VA area is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to advance their career while handling a diverse caseload.
Manage insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Conduct depositions, attend hearings, negotiate settlements, and participate in trials.
Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel throughout litigation.
Active Virginia Bar admission required.
3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines.
$110,000–$180,000 base salary, depending on experience.
