Remote PEMB Drafter / Detailer (MBS Software)
Our client, an established pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) company, is hiring an experienced PEMB Drafter/Detailer to join its team. This is a fully remote role for someone who knows MBS inside and out and takes pride in clean, accurate drawings.
What you'll do:
- Produce erection drawings, anchor bolt plans and shop/fabrication details for pre-engineered metal buildings
- Build and detail models in MBS software from design and order information
- Check drawings for accuracy, constructability and code compliance
- Work with engineers, project managers and customers to resolve RFIs and revisions
- Keep projects moving on schedule while managing multiple jobs at once
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience using MBS software
- Strong PEMB drafting and detailing background
- Solid understanding of metal building systems, framing, sheeting and trim
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Clear communicator who meets deadlines
Compensation:
- Hourly pay of up to $40/hour for the right fit, based on experience
