Gpac is partnering with a growing engineering firm to find a licensed Structural Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. You'll lead the analysis and design of structures for commercial, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure projects, working in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. You'll prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and constructible designs from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and related structures
- Prepare calculations, construction drawings, and specifications
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and clients
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, ETABS, or SAP2000
- Working knowledge of IBC, ACI, AISC, and related codes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
