GPAC is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an established regional general contractor with a diverse commercial portfolio and a strong base of repeat clients. The company is adding a Project Manager - Commercial Construction to its team in Birmingham, AL. This is an urgent, high-priority opening.

The Role

Focus: 5+ years as a Project Manager with prior APM experience on diverse commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse commercial projects including retail and light industrial work
• Build long-term client relationships
• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own budget, schedule, buyout, change orders and monthly forecasting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and design teams
• Lead and mentor project engineers and APMs

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Project Manager with prior APM experience on diverse commercial projects.
• Proven record of delivering work safely, on time and on budget
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Procore, Bluebeam, P6 or similar a plus
