Job Description

A structural steel company is adding two experienced Steel Checkers to its team. The position is on-site at their Friendswood, TX office in the Houston area. It's detailing and checking only, with no RFIs, no PM coordination and no clerical management, so you can focus completely on the work.

What you'll do

• Check and detail structural steel shop and erection drawings
• Work on a wide range of commercial projects, including warehouses, tilt walls, data centers, hospitals, churches and schools

What we're looking for

• Experience checking steel detailing work
• Tekla preferred; strong SDS2 checking experience is welcome, with Tekla training provided within the first year
