Labor & Employment Attorney Opportunity in Fort Lauderdale: Employment Defense with Balance

Our client, an established South Florida employment defense firm, is looking for a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team in Fort Lauderdale. The practice defends and counsels employers on discrimination, wage-and-hour, and workplace compliance matters.

This is a hybrid position, giving you a balanced week of in-person time at the Fort Lauderdale office and focused days working from home.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims
• Prepare agency responses, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Counsel clients on employment policies, handbooks, and compliance
• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and client service skills
• Ability to thrive on a hybrid schedule
