Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Estimator. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, material takeoffs, and labor estimating.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates, budgets, and proposals.

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents.

• Perform material takeoffs and labor cost calculations.

• Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

• Identify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunities.

• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, vendors, and clients.

• Prepare bid packages and support project handoffs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical construction estimating experience preferred.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, or similar.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Commercial, industrial, or data center experience is a plus.
