Job Description

A steel bridge fabricator a short drive from Fulton, MO is searching for a Quality Control Manager who wants full ownership of the QC program, from inspection planning and NDT oversight to final code sign-off.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary quality liaison for production leads, project managers, and third-party inspectors
• Direct the shop's weld inspection and NDT program from fit-up through final release of bridge members
• Develop and maintain inspection and test plans, quality documentation, and the NCR and corrective action process
• Hold all bridge steel work to AWS D1.5, AISC certification requirements, and owner specifications

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of quality control experience in a steel fabrication environment
• Hands-on quality background in AWS D1.5 bridge steel fabrication
• Active CWI certification
• UT Level II certification
