Job Description

Summary: An established, independent lumber and building materials dealer along the Central Texas I-35 corridor is looking for a hands-on General Manager who also owns purchasing. You'll run the yard and grow the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day operations: yard, sales counter, delivery and staff
• Own purchasing and inventory for lumber, sheet goods and building materials, and negotiate with mills and vendors
• Manage the P&L, margins and pricing
• Build relationships with contractors and builders across Central Texas
• Hire, train and develop the team, and keep safety front and center

What You Bring

• 5+ years in lumber or building materials, with management or purchasing experience
• Strong grasp of lumber markets and commodity buying
• P&L, inventory and people leadership experience
