Looking to build your public accounting tax career with hands-on experience? My client is a close-knit regional CPA firm serving family-owned businesses, nonprofits and individuals, and they are adding a Staff Tax Accountant to their San Antonio office.

About the Role:

• Prepare individual, partnership and S corporation returns
• Assist with tax planning projections and estimates
• Organize client information and prepare supporting workpapers
• Research basic tax questions with guidance from seniors
• Work directly with clients during the engagement

Qualifications:

• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, or actively working toward one
• 1+ years of tax preparation experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Familiarity with professional tax software
• Organized, accurate and eager to learn
