Job Title: Fire Protection Technician - Fire Alarm / Sprinkler / Special Hazards - Brownsville, TX
Pay: $18-$35 per hour (based on experience) with unlimited overtime, plus holiday and performance bonuses
About the Opportunity:
Our client is a fast-growing fire protection contractor with a large backlog of service and install work. That means steady hours, unlimited overtime and a company truck.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, install, inspect, test and repair fire alarm, fire sprinkler or special hazard systems
- Do routine inspections and maintenance to NFPA and local code requirements
- Diagnose system issues and make corrective repairs
- Keep accurate service and inspection records, and communicate clearly with customers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with fire alarm, sprinkler or special hazard systems
- NICET certification or state licensing a plus
- Stable work history
