We are seeking a motivated and experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a well-established law firm in Maine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, contract negotiations, and property-related legal matters.
Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other real estate contracts.
Conduct title examinations, review surveys, and resolve title-related issues.
Represent buyers, sellers, developers, and lenders in real estate transactions.
Assist with real estate financing, acquisitions, and development projects.
Conduct due diligence and coordinate real estate closings.
Advise clients on zoning, land use, and property regulations.
Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure successful transactions.
Must be licensed and in good standing with the Maine State Bar.
3+ years of real estate law experience preferred.
Experience handling commercial and/or residential real estate transactions.
Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Ability to manage multiple transactions independently.
$105,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience.
