Diesel Technician

We are a farm equipment dealership and we have a 92-year track record of excellence in supplying and servicing the agricultural market with the equipment they need. Even after 92 years, we are still growing, and we need to hire additional Diesel Engine Mechanics.

In this position, you work with a team of mechanics to service all types of equipment but specializing in Diesel Engine repairs. You will repair the latest equipment from Massey Ferguson, Versatile and Cummins. You will diagnose and trouble shoot in order to do the needed repairs, setup and predelivery of new equipment, and you will be responsible for all phases of the repair.

You should be a self-starting personality, excellent communicator and experience in diesel engines and hydraulics. We will provide a seasonal training program, as well as management support and a positive family type environment you will enjoy! You should bring your:

· 3+ years’ experience in diesel engine repairs, technical training or in the service mechanic industry

· Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication skills

· Attention to detail; completing reports, forms, and orders properly is critical in this position

· Your own basic tools to complete repairs

· Ability to build strong relationships with our customers

· Desire to succeed and build a career

We’ll provide:

· Competitive compensation package depending on experience; $25 - $32/hr plus OT and incentive bonus. Experienced technicians can make up to $85,000 per year.
