Gpac is working with a leading co-manufacturer for the nation that is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Coordinator for their facility in brand in Upstate New York.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receiving and reconciling of all packaging materials.
  • Cycle count packaging after a production run to capture scrap.
  • Perform daily cycle counts which include packaging and finished goods.
  • Coordinate packaging material staging usage and returns for production.
  • Enter all receiving into PLEX. Create General Shippers when needed. 
  • Support production supervisors.
  • Liaison between warehouse and production departments. Report any issues to the Inventory Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, or Plant Manager.
  • Coordinators are responsible for ensuring line supply by front-end drivers is done promptly for production requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure loaded drop trailers in the yard are spotted to dock doors to be unloaded.
  • Coordinate with the yard driver to ensure drop trailers in the yard are put in a door to be unloaded in a timely manner to support production.
  • Work with the Inventory Manager and Purchasing Department to resolve receiving conflicts.
  • Coordinate finding space in the warehouse for all materials.
  • Communicate with the Warehouse Manager about any issues with Forklifts or Floor Machines.
  • Handle any computer problems (printing bills or tags, fork-lift loaders’ software)
  • Handle any shipping with UPS or FedEx (samples being sent out)
  • Complete daily shift reports with shift information.
  • Responsible for shipping, receiving, and communicating packaging materials to and from the Annex warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining clean work areas and good housekeeping.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Associate degree | Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a warehouse setting within a fast-paced manufacturing
  • Must be highly computer literate with Microsoft 365* and ERP systems.
  • Must have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to Organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated and able to work well under deadlines.  
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical for this position
