Job Description

As one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing custom signage providers, we are seeking an Installation Manager to join our expanding team. We are a full-service signage organization specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of custom signs and environmental graphics, partnering with clients across retail, corporate, healthcare, education, and other industries nationwide to deliver high-impact visual branding solutions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience managing aftermarket installation or service operations such as signage, HVAC, electrical, commercial food service equipment, or automotive service departments. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, uses data and KPIs to drive performance, and enjoys managing complex, creative projects from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop installation department team members

  • Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and workflow to achieve quarterly and annual performance goals

  • Lead and mentor Installation Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring alignment with company objectives

  • Implement and manage processes, systems, SOPs, and performance metrics to drive operational consistency and quality

  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations

  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and capital equipment

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to confirm logistics, safety requirements, and installation feasibility

  • Troubleshoot field challenges and make real-time decisions to keep projects on schedule

  • Ensure accurate completion of field documentation and reporting

  • Communicate proactively with internal teams and customers regarding schedules, delays, and project updates

  • Maintain accountability for individual and team KPI performance

  • Travel up to 30% to project sites and client locations as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in installation, service, or operations management

  • Proven success managing teams and improving performance through KPIs and data-driven decision making

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and project documentation

  • Experience in sign installation or related industries is strongly preferred
