We have been retained by a prominent mid-size law firm to search for a Trust and Estate Planning Lateral Attorney to join their reputable Trust and Estate practice. The firm is based primarily in Boston, MA and Manchester, NH.

Overview

This position requires extensive drafting of core and complex estate planning and probate expertise, providing for high-net-worth clients’ asset protection, and minimizing income tax, gift tax, and estate tax consequences. The successful candidate must be motivated, exacting and possess excellent client counseling skills and a high degree of professionalism. The firm has a collaborative atmosphere which allows for quality time to grow your career network and absorb the wealth of knowledge available within their tenured team. They also appreciate the importance of work-life balance to support your personal and professional success.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • LLM preferred.
  • Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and in good standing.
  • 7 or more years of experience with sophisticated and complex estate planning and administration.
  • Estate tax expertise is preferred.
  • Experience in creating a variety of individually tailored estate plans, familiarity with current probate procedure, and tax law.
  • Some portable business.

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.
