Litigation Associate Attorney (1–3 Years Experience)

Our firm is partnering with a respected Kansas City law firm seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice.

This opportunity is ideal for a junior associate who has already been exposed to civil litigation and is looking to deepen courtroom experience, sharpen writing skills, and work closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collegial environment.

Position: Litigation Associate Attorney
Experience Required: 1–3 years
Location: Kansas City, MO
Practice Focus: Civil Litigation (Personal Injury experience preferred)

The Opportunity

• Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Assist with and independently draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda

• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation

• Work on injury-related matters, including personal injury cases (preferred but not required)

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on strategy and case development

Ideal Candidate Background

• 1–3 years of experience handling civil litigation matters

• Exposure to personal injury or injury-related litigation strongly preferred

• Superior legal research and writing skills

• Demonstrated professionalism with unimpeachable ethics

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues

• Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar (or eligible for licensure)
