Appellate Attorney (8+ Yrs) – Complex Commercial & Insurance Appeals – Dallas – $160K–$250K + Bonus

Appellate lawyers: own appeals from notice through argument on high-exposure commercial and insurance matters, with a path to equity partnership.

About the Role

Our recruiting team is working directly with firm leadership at a premier litigation firm with a national-scope practice in trials, appeals, and arbitrations. The Appellate Attorney will work closely with trial teams on high-exposure commercial and insurance disputes in Texas state and federal courts. The firm offers schedule flexibility.

What You'll Do

• Handle appeals from notice of appeal through disposition
• Write appellate briefs, petitions for review, mandamus petitions, and dispositive motions
• Present oral argument
• Work with trial teams on error preservation and strategy

What You Bring

• 8+ years of civil appellate experience in Texas state and/or federal courts
• Significant brief-writing experience
• Active Texas law license in good standing
• Complex commercial and insurance appeals preferred; Board Certification in Civil Appellate Law a plus

• $160K–$250K base DOE, plus generous performance-based bonuses
