Job Description

gpac is currently assisting a client in their search for an Equine Feed Sales Specialist.  This position is with a stable and growing company that is a leader in manufacturing and marketing of equine feed and supplements.  Their reputation is build on decades of success, proven results, and deep-rooted partnerships in the equine industry.  This person will focus on promoting and growing sales throughout New York and New England.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow market share and establish new customer accounts
  • Support existing clients by providing a high level of service
  • Provide on-site nutritional support and product recommendations tailored to clients needs
  • Attend equine events, shows, and industry meetings to represent the company and expand brand visibility
  • Deliver training and product education to customers
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to support product growth
  • Collaborate with sales teams and management to achieve sales goals

Background Requirements:

  • Prior experiences in the equine industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the region
