Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

Houston, TX | Full Time | Company Truck

We're working with an established Houston mechanical contractor looking for an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to service large industrial systems for some of their most complex customers.

What You'll Work On

• Industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Screw and reciprocating compressors and compressor packages
• Evaporators, condensers, vessels, pumps, and controls
• Cold storage and large distribution center refrigeration
• Troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and emergency service

What They're Looking For

• Hands on ammonia refrigeration service experience
• Ability to independently troubleshoot large industrial systems
• Strong electrical, controls, and mechanical skills
• RETA, CARO, CIRO, or similar training is a plus
• Stable work history and valid driver's license
• Union or non union welcome

Compensation & Benefits

• $55 to $65 per hour, depending on experience, plus overtime
• Company truck, tools, and ongoing training
• Medical, dental, and vision
• 401k with a 50% match on up to 10% of pay
• Per diem for occasional out of town work
• Relocation package available if needed
