About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Bad Faith Insurance Attorney to join our Scottsdale, AZ office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex insurance disputes, including litigation related to bad faith claims. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, collaborate with a dynamic legal team, and make a significant impact in the field of insurance law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle bad faith insurance claims and related litigation from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents

  • Conduct legal research and analysis of insurance policies, statutes, and case law

  • Advise clients on risk exposure, coverage issues, and litigation strategy

  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and courtroom proceedings

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active Arizona Bar License

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in insurance law, with bad faith claims experience preferred

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and client management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines
