Plaintiff Employment Law Attorney Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced associate attorney specializing in labor and employment to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. This role is ideal for a plaintiff-side employment attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on complex cases involving wage and hour disputes, class actions, PAGA claims, and employment-related litigation. Generous commission structure on top of base pay, providing significant earning potential!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date on federal, state, and local employment laws and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop and pursue wage and hour class actions and other employment-related cases.
  • Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery, and motions for state and federal courts.
  • Conduct legal research and present arguments in motions and hearings.
  • Oversee mediation and court approval processes, including drafting and arguing preliminary and final approval motions.
  • Handle employment disputes, including wrongful termination and discrimination claims.
  • Participate in mediations, including second-chair opportunities for class action cases

 Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership.
  • 3-5 years off employment law experience preferred
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office.
