A focused Fort Worth energy law firm is looking for a senior associate to take ownership of title, regulatory, and transactional work for operators and other energy-sector clients across Texas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review drilling and division order title opinions
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and permitting matters
- Negotiate and draft oil and gas agreements and related transactional documents
- Identify and manage legal risk on energy projects
- Partner with firm leadership on strategy for client matters
Requirements
- Senior associate-level experience in oil and gas title and/or regulatory practice
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
- Strong title examination and opinion drafting skills
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and client communication
Compensation and benefits
- Top-market competitive compensation, based on experience
Work arrangement
Full-time, primarily in office in Fort Worth with some work-from-home flexibility.
This is a dedicated energy practice where attorneys work side by side with partners to deliver practical, business-minded counsel to the oil and gas industry.
