Construction Project Engineer – Hyperscale Data Centers (Traveling)
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer with experience supporting the construction of ground-up hyperscale data centers. Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations to keep projects on schedule.
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and material deliveries.
- Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with contract documents and specifications.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate reporting.
- Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on every jobsite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience supporting ground-up commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction.
- Prior experience on hyperscale data center projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project documentation.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel nationwide and remain on assigned project sites for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in remote project locations.
- Flexibility to relocate from project to project as business needs dictate.
