Project Manager - Indsutrial Construction
Overview:
A leading design-build general contractor specializing in industrial and distribution facilities is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects in the Arlington area. Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of large industrial construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout
Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
Coordinate design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor project performance, costs, and schedules to achieve client objectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication
Enforce safety standards, quality control, and compliance with building codes and regulations
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and keep projects on track
Requirements:
7–10 years of experience managing large-scale industrial projects (distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, tilt-wall construction, etc.)
Strong understanding of design-build delivery and industrial construction methods
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
