Construction Site Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI

A respected and well-established general contractor in the Milwaukee market is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support field operations on complex commercial construction projects. Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to project managers and superintendents throughout all phases of construction
  • Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project schedules

  • Conduct site inspections and track project progress, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards

  • Prepare and maintain field documentation, RFIs, and reports

  • Support issue resolution and contribute to effective problem-solving on the job site

  • Help manage closeout procedures including punch lists and project documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or field support roles (internship experience considered)

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices

  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
