Construction Site Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI

A respected and well-established general contractor in the Milwaukee market is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support field operations on complex commercial construction projects. Responsibilities:
Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project schedules
Conduct site inspections and track project progress, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Prepare and maintain field documentation, RFIs, and reports
Support issue resolution and contribute to effective problem-solving on the job site
Help manage closeout procedures including punch lists and project documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or field support roles (internship experience considered)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
