Commercial Door Technician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Door Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of commercial overhead doors, roll-up doors, operators, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities for the Commercial Door Technician:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial garage doors, rolling steel doors, fire-rated doors, and related hardware.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on door systems and operators.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding work performed, recommendations, and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and documentation of completed work.
- Adhere to company safety protocols, OSHA standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements of the Commercial Door Technician:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial door installation, service, or related trades preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, or emergency service as needed.
- Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Knowledge of welding, electrical wiring, or construction is a plus.
