Interior Designer
High-End Residential Construction | Custom Homes
Our client is a small, family-owned residential construction company specializing in high-end finishes and custom-built homes. They are seeking a talented and self-motivated Interior Designer to join their team and play a key role in delivering exceptional, client-focused residential projects.
Position Overview
The Interior Designer will be responsible for managing all interior design selections for new custom homes, working closely with homeowners and the construction team to ensure each project reflects the client’s vision, lifestyle, and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with clients to understand their design preferences and functional needs
Manage and coordinate all interior (and related exterior) finish selections for new custom homes
Develop and present design concepts, material palettes, and finish options
Ensure all selections align with project budgets, schedules, and construction requirements
Maintain clear documentation of selections and client approvals
Coordinate with builders, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the build process
Provide a high level of service and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of interior design experience, preferably in residential or custom home design
2-year or 4-year Interior Design degree preferred
Strong understanding of high-end finishes, materials, and current residential design trends
Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing projects independently
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Passion for working closely with clients and creating personalized living spaces
