Tax Senior - Flow-Through

Location: Washington, DC

Overview

A national tax, assurance and advisory CPA firm is seeking a Tax Senior for its flow-through tax practice in Washington, DC. This role delivers industry-focused tax compliance and advisory services to S corporations, partnerships and individuals, from middle market to multinational companies, with on-the-job coaching and flexibility in how and where work gets done.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S corporations, partnerships and individuals ranging from middle market to multinational companies
• Participate in tax research projects, help draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries
• Team with leaders on special projects in flow-through taxation
• Develop recommendations for clients and share them with leadership
• Work with specialty tax practices on state and local, high net worth, international, R&D and credits and incentives matters
• Build strong relationships internally and with clients
• Support the growth and development of team members

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and CPA license eligible
• 2+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm
• Strong time management, communication, relationship building, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Office skills
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
