Agricultural Lender

Help Grow the Producers Who Feed Our Communities.

Agriculture is the foundation of many of the communities we serve, and we believe strong banking relationships play an important role in helping producers succeed. We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Lender who enjoys working directly with farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness owners to provide customized financial solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to develop long-term relationships while supporting the continued success of local agriculture.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural producers and agribusiness customers.
• Generate new lending opportunities through business development and community involvement.
• Manage an agricultural loan portfolio, including annual reviews and renewals.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, production history, collateral, and cash flow.
• Structure operating lines, equipment loans, real estate financing, and other agricultural credit solutions.
• Coordinate underwriting, documentation, and loan closing activities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage credit quality.
• Cross-sell deposit, treasury, and other financial products.
• Represent the bank throughout the agricultural community.

What We're Looking For

• Agricultural lending experience with a bank or agricultural financial institution.
• Understanding of crop production, livestock operations, and agricultural financial management.
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting abilities.
• Proven relationship-building and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
