Location: Lancaster, NY (Travel across Western/Central NY and Western PA)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery at customer sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on CNC machines (mechanical and electrical).
  • Install and calibrate new CNC equipment, including laser alignment and spindle balancing.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and document service activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers.
  • Travel to customer sites within assigned territory; occasional overnight stays required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machinery repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) and programming basics.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually (based on experience).
  • Mileage reimbursement per IRS rates.
