Remote Position, Travel Required

A rapidly expanding food manufacturing company on a confidential search for a Vice President of Operations. This company is a new and rapidly growing food manufacturing company that’s building something special. They’re expanding fast and looking for a great candidate to join their team and oversee 3 facilities across the U.S. This is a remote position that requires travel. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Execution 

  • Define and implement a unified operational strategy across all three plants aligned with company objectives. 

  • Translate high-level business goals into site-level production and operational plans. 

  • Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to company-wide strategic decisions.

  • Ares that will oversee: Plant management | process improvement & standardization | cross-functional collaboration | people & culture leadership | capital & infrastructure planning | regulatory & compliance oversight 

What they’re looking for:

  • ​​10+ years of progressive operations leadership in a manufacturing environment, ideally within food or beverage

  • Proven experience overseeing multiple production facilities is strongly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus)

  • HACCP, PCQI, and OSHA Certifications

  • Familiarity with SQF

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of building or improving operations in high-growth or post-merger environments

  • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Willingness and ability to regularly travel to each plant as needed
