Job Description
This position is a part of our Restoration / Water Mitigation Team, you are the first responders onsite for water damage claims and you are responsible for beginning the claim process, determining the scope of work, performing demo as needed, daily monitoring and diary notes, and job closeout/customer satisfaction survey.
The Restoration Crew Chief assigns, coordinates, controls, and performs work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
- Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities
- Thoroughly document restoration projects support the services provided
- Manage labor, equipment, and supply usage on assigned projects
- Communicate progress, problems, and important updates with internal team members.
- Verify all safety protocols are established and followed for workplace safety
Qualifications
- Effective oral communication
- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
- Xactimate estimating software expeirence
- High school diploma/GED
- IICRC certifications preferred
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
- Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
