Job Description

Growing CPA firm is looking for their next Tax Manager.  This firm is a small to mid-size firm that just finished a merger and looking to continue to expand their firm.

Tax Manager Path to Partner:

· 7+ years of experience with tax and accounting and management

* Must have at least 7 years of management experience

· Prep/Review experience

· Active CPA license (will look at EA) (possible for those on the CPA path, depending on how they are in the process)

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Generalist

· Experience with CCH Excess, Engagement manager, QuickBooks, Pro Systems FX tax, Sage

· Experience and willingness to prep returns (if needed) – 1040, 1120, 1120s, 1065, 1041

· Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and relationship-building skills

· Prep/Review: Need to be able to review returns. Also need to be able to step in and prep returns when needed.

· Industries: E-Commerce, Closely Held Businesses, Home Health Care, International Business, Law Firms & Professional Services, Private Client Advisory, Real Estate, Staffing Companies, Start-Ups, High-Net-Worth individuals, Family-Owned businesses, Hedge Funds/Investment-related clients, Manufacturing, Food & beverage
